This tune composed as an emotional response to the plight of so many people in Northern Alberta who were dsplaced during the fire at Fort McMurray. It was astounding that 80,000 people could be evacuated (or that they even needed to be) all safely while flames roared around the very roads they fled on. And the response from the rest of the province to help the refugees of that fire. As one person said, “Only an Albertain would drive a tanker full of gasoline into a massive fire to help get people out safely.”
The tune was recorded by Hardwire Speers and ace bassist Sandy Aberdeen.
